About Hume
Hume Machinery began way back in 2000, and was founded by Stephen Hume, who has been in the plastic recycling industry for over 15 years. At the time Stephen, who was busy with the running of a plastic recycling business, noticed the potential and gap in the market when he had to sell off some used, redundant machines.
He noticed the demand for well-priced recycling machines. This was the beginning of Hume Machinery.
In 2006 Stephen was joined by his long-time friend and new partner Giovanni Spinelli. Together they have formed a very successful partnership and have made many strong advances within the plastic industry.
Hume Machinery has strived to be the leaders in the Industrial Machinery market within South Africa and aspires through constant research and innovation to provide their customers with service excellence, which exceeds their expectations.
Hume Machinery has formed many local and international relationships and has recently launched a variety of new products by partnering with these manufacturers.
